PEA assembled a team for a multifamily pilot project, which is serving as the model for scaling up across Philadelphia. The implementation partners for the Multi-Family Affordable Housing Pilot are 第一团房屋小组, 朋友康复计划, BlocPower, CMC能源服务, 层云物联网, PECO能源, 费城燃气工程. Phase 1 included auditing of the 第一团房屋小组 和 朋友康复计划 properties, 共计189台. CMC能源服务 collected key data on the properties 和 installed utility-funded measures to address electricity 和 gas consumption. 还有能源节约, CMC 和 层云物联网 installed networked smart thermostats, which now allow BlocPower to collect aggregated 和 anonymous data on the conditions that tenants experience, which allowed BlocPower to refine their recommendations for larger investments in energy conservation.
PEA is leveraging the experience from the pilot project to provide technical assistance to property owners who are looking for ways to improve the energy performance of their buildings 和 to help cut utility costs for tenants.
